Business Continuity Plan Disclosure
Woven Prosperity® has developed a Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan to explain how it will respond to events that significantly disrupt its business. Since the timing and impact of disasters and disruptions are unpredictable, Woven Prosperity® will have to be flexible in responding to actual events as they occur. With that in mind, below is information from this Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan.
Contact Information: If, after a significant business disruption, you cannot contact Woven Prosperity® as you usually do at (415) 314-7249, you should contact Woven Prosperity® by email at nate@wovenprosperity.com.
The Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan:
- Woven Prosperity® plans to quickly recover and resume business operations after a significant business disruption and respond by safeguarding its employees and property, making a financial and operational assessment, protecting its books and records, and allowing its clients to transact business. In short, the Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan is designed to permit it to resume operations as quickly as possible, given the scope and severity of the significant business disruption.
- The Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan addresses: data backup and recovery; all mission critical systems; financial and operational assessments; alternative communications with clients, employees, and regulators; alternate physical location(s) of employees; critical supplier, contractor, bank and counter-party impact; regulatory reporting; and assuring clients prompt access to their funds and securities if Woven Prosperity® is unable to continue its business.
Varying Disruptions: Significant business disruptions can vary in scope, such as affecting only Woven Prosperity®, a single building housing it, the business district where it is located, the city where it is located, or the whole region. Within each of these areas, the severity of the disruption can also vary from minimal to severe. In a disruption to only Woven Prosperity® or a building housing it, operations will be transferred to a local site when needed, and Woven Prosperity® expects to recover and resume business within a two (2) hour time period. In a disruption affecting the business district, city, or region, Woven Prosperity® will transfer its operations to a site outside of the affected area, and recover and resume business within a 24 hour time period. In either situation, Woven Prosperity® plans to continue in business, transfer operations to its clearing firm if necessary, and notify its clients through its email at nate@wovenprosperity.com on how it can be contacted. If the significant business disruption is so severe that it prevents Woven Prosperity® from remaining in business, it will assure its clients prompt access to their funds and securities.
